That’s what I thought. Who, in all of Jane’s books, really treats women well all the time? Brandon maybe? Captain Wentworth? Even Bingley is guilty of being kinda thoughtless. In general in that era that class of women were just how men made heirs and got their households organized.
a;lsdkjfosier Colonel Brandon is probably the best out of all of Jane’s menfolk. I mean, I love me some Mr. Darcy, but clearly he doesn’t always treat women the best.
